‘Booil’ or ‘Booil Baccagh’ is a dance tune that pops up a few times in the collections of Manx folk music. Here the melody is used as a basis for a real-life song by Annie, following the early morning appearance of a flock of sheep in her garden. Irree shiu! (Get up!) is aimed at the various late-sleepers in the house who failed to get up and assist their mother!
